## Keynote Indications
Sul-i. was proved by Kelsall on himself and some others. Hale used it in “obstinate skin 
diseases, notably barber’s itch, for which it is almost a specific.” The provings indicate this in “pustular eruption 
on upper lip” and “erythema on chin.” 
 
 
Hale also noted it for large and painful suppurating acne. Weeping eczema. He used the 3x trituration, internally 
and applied a cerate of one or two grains of Sul-i. to an ounce of Cosmoline. 
Useful for psoric, a llergic constitutions. Obstinate skin affections. Suppuration. Acrid discharges. Painless 
enlargement of glands and infiltration of tissues with thickening and induration after inflammation. 
Weakness, as from the influenza. Prostra tion, sensitive to ever ything. Faint and sick. Raw burning heat 
internally with external coldness. Single parts, fingers etc. turn white and insensible.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Better by expectoration. Better from cool air, winter. Better standing. Worse from exertion, even 
slight. Worse lying on right side, leaning forward, stoop ing, ascending stairs, rising. Worse before storms. 
Worse night, in morning.
