## Keynote Indications
Phenac, belongs to the Aniline group an d was introduced into old - school practice as a 
 
 
remedy in febrile states and neuralgias. 
Clarke added a symptom observed on a young woman who had taken Phenac, for headaches. She had a 
circumscribed rash on both cheeks which came out red, lasted four days and then peeled and as soon as it 
was clear the process was repeated. 
Clarke tried many remedies with varying success, but it finally disappeared under Alum. 30c, one powder at 
bedtime.
