## Keynote Indications
Palladium, one of the rare metals, was first separated from native platinum by Wollaston in 
1803 and was named after the planet Pallas, which had been discovered just before that time by Olbers. The 
metal is closely associated with platinum and gold. 
Hering, who made the first provings in 1850 , said that platinum and palladium, both proved in dust form, 
showed such similar ity in their effects that the question arose whether corresponding differences might be 
found. Subsequent clinical experience has done much to distinguish between these two r emedies. 
F. Aguilar noted that Pall, is indicated in gynecological conditions where the disease had its inception in the 
right ovary, the uterine prolapse and retroversion, sub -acute pelvic peritonitis and concomitant symptoms be -
ing secondary. 
Pall, affects the ovaries, especially the right, the uterus and the mind. Disorders of the right ovary, attended 
with pains that are better from pressure. Chronic oophoritis. 
Bruised soreness. Stitches, rheumatic pains, suddenly changing and often lasting but a short  time. Pains 
fleeting, transient. Every step causes pain in groin. Motor weakness, averse to exercise. Undressing causes 
itching all over body.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Better from diversion, touch, pressure, rubbing, after sleep, rest and stools. Sciatica, and colic 
are better from warmth (hot cloths). Worse from lively emotions, chagrin, socia l excitement, social functions. 
Worse standing, exertion.

only relief she could get was by inducing her sister to sit on that region.
- This “better by pressure" distinguishes 
the pain of Pall, from the similar ovarian of Plat.

### Head
- Headache, causing irritability and impatience.

### Mouth
- Tongue red in the middle (morn ing).

### Throat
