Source: Derived from magnesium carbonate ( MgCO₃), a naturally occurring mineral, prepared for. homeopathic use through trituration and serial dilution to eliminate material toxicity and enhance. therapeutic action. Traditional Context : Historically employed in homeopathy for gastrointestinal, neurological,. musculoskeletal, psychological, and systemic disorders, particularly those involving sour. eructations, neuralgic pains, and exhaustion. It is noted for symptoms such as acidity, spasmodic. pains, sensitivity to cold, and fatigue, often aggravated by milk, cold, or night, and ameliorated by. warmth, motion, or fresh air. Modern Context: Indicated for gastrointestinal conditions (e.g., gastroesophageal reflux disease,. irritable bowel syndrome), neurological conditions (e.g., neuralgia, tension headaches),. musculoskeletal conditions (e.g., fibromyalgia, muscle cramps), psychological conditions (e.g.,. generalized anxiety disorder, adjustment disorder), and systemic conditions (e.g., chronic fatigue. syndrome, nutritional deficiencies). It suits patients with acute or chronic symptoms characterized. by sour eructations , neuralgic pains , fatigue, sensitivity to cold , or spasmodic complaints ,. typically exacerbated by milk, cold, or night, and often seen in individuals with chilly, sensitive. constitutions. The remedy is particularly relevant for those with a cold, depleted constitution, often. presenting with gastrointestinal symptoms like acidity or diarrhea alongside systemic symptoms. like exhaustion or neuralgia, commonly observed in patients with acid reflux, fibromyalgia, or. chronic fatigue triggered by dietary intolerances, cold exposure, or emotional stress.
