Peop le who diet excessively may also\ndevelop this tendency, although they are not Lilium Tig patients.\nExcessive dieting can aff ect thinking temporarily. Light\nis unbearable.  The eyesight becomes weak .  The patient may even\nbecome temporarily blind .  The room appears pitch dark and\nshadows dance before the eyes.  The eyes become inflamed.  If the\ninflammation becomes chronic, then the eyes become swollen forever.\nOne symptom resembles that of Merc Cor e.g. the dysentery in which\nthe patient continues to feel discom fort and griping even after having\npassed the stools.  In Merc Cor, the patient has only the feeling of\nincomplete opening of the bowels, while in Lilium Tig the patient\ncontinues to feel like going to the lavatory all the time.  Like Merc\nCor, the patient also feels a burning sensation even after having\npassed the urine.\n\nOnce the scary thought of becoming insa ne becomes set in the\nmind, it is indelible. The patient be gins to think himself of being\nsomething or somebody else. He cannot avoid this supposition.  This\nis typical of Lilium Tig.  The patient frequently goes into severe\nsadness and depression.  I have, by God\u2019s grace,  successfully treated\nmany such young men.  In addition to the medication, the patient also\nrequires counselling with love and affection.  In general,\npsychological and physical ailments ar e very intimately related, even\nto an inseparable extent.
