Insufficient labor pains, transferred labor. Labor pains felt in back (Cimic., felt in thighs). \nInsomnia, cannot relax, without reason. Unrefreshed sleep. Drowsiness, while eat ing. Worse after sex, feel \nweak and prostrated (Sil., Calc.), sleepless after sex. Complaints after sex in males, especially complaints of \nthe eyes. \nOne case of a headache that Clarke cured was better by lying down, better by a tight band around the head.  \nA man had an ulcer of the right leg with swelling of the ankle and he complained of waking at 2 a.m. Kali -c. \n30c cured, but in the meantime he developed a great weakness of the right thigh, as if it would give out when \nwalking. \nThe symptom \u201cpain from the hip to the knee\u201d led to a cure in a woman, 73, stout, short, pale and of very soft \ntissue, who had for four months suffered from rheumatic pains, and an offensive vaginal discharge. \nA local practitioner was consulted and pronounced it cancer of the womb in an advanced stage and gave her \nfour months to live. She described to Clarke the pain as be ing all around the lower abdomen and a \u2018\u2018dull, \nheavy, depressing, dead pain, commencing at the inner part of the top of the right hip, iliac crest and extending \nto the knee.\u201d \nThe pain was so severe it made her feel quite sick and faint. The discharge was very offensive like decaying \nmeat. Great weakness and trem bling accompanied the discharge. Urine was almost like blood at times, and \nhad a sandy sediment. \nKali-c. 1,000c. was given and at once improvement set in. In a few months all the bad symptoms had \ndisappeared and never returned. The patient lived ten years after this episode. \nId of Stettin, Germany, recorded the case of a woman, 65, who suffered from chronic bronchial catarrh and \nemphysema. In November, 1886, she had asthmatic complaints, depriving her of sleep with cough and mucus \nexpectoration difficult to raise. \nShe was so weary when eating that she fell asleep and could not finish her meal.  \nTired after eating. In the morning, passed much flatulence. Kali-c. 10c removed the condition in a few days. \nThe following March after a cold there was a recurrence, but without the weariness, and Kali-c. failed. Ars. 15c \nrapidly cured. \nThe same patient also had a toothache alternating with tearing, stitching pain in left breast and under left false \nribs. The side pains were worse at night, especially in evening as soo n as she lay down, worse lying down, \nparticularly worse lying on the right (painless) side.
