Kali -ar. is the \nfavorite form in which arsenic is prescribed by the allopaths, consequently the bulk of observations from over-\ndosing are due to this preparation, named Liquor arsenicalis, considered arsenic and nothing else. \nMuch of our knowledge relating to this remedy comes to us from the effects of overdosing and protracted use \nof the medi cine on patients suffering from chronic skin and blood diseases. The arsenic symptoms \npredominate. \nEpithelioma developed in a patient after prolonged treatment with allopathic Kali -ar. for psoriasis. \nDuring treatment for right-sided herpes, patients noted color changes in their eyes and skin. Sclerotics became \nthick and yellow instead of clear and bluish. The iris, which was blue, became gray. Skin, instead of being fair \nand florid, became muddy and older looking. \nTendency towards anxiety and skin dis eases. Restless, nervous. Great weakness. Emaciation, anemia. \nFaintness. Neurasthe nia. Chilly and sensitive to cold.  Cannot get too warm even in summer. Tremors. \nSudden noise or touch throws the whole body into a tremor. \nInveterate skin diseases, malignant tendency. Sudden impulse to kill.","Vertigo":"Vertigo while walking in the open air. \nCOMMENTS - Cases of Kali-ar. poisoning with massive doses present nothing to distinguish them from cases \nof other arsenical prepara tions, but Kali -ar. has had a short proving and a number of cases of allopathic \nprovings are on record. \nJonathan Hutchinson recorded a number  of cases of right -sided herpes. One of his patients observed that, \nwhile taking Kali- ar., her sclerotics became thick and yellow instead of clear and bluish. The iris, which was \nblue, became more gray. Her skin, instead of being fair and florid, became m uddy and older looking. \nThis was a mystery to Hutchinson as he usually gave Kali -ar. to make the skin clearer, but he was compelled \nto record the fact, though he did not apparently perceive the homeopathic solution of the mystery.  \nHutchinson also noted cases of epithelioma developing after prolonged medication with Kali -ar. for psoriasis. \nIn another case, an attack of measles was almost exactly mimicked. \nUseful as a backup for Ars., particularly if Ars. palliates or stops working. \nSkin symptoms with a tendency toward malignancy. Psoriasis. Herpes. Itching, worse at night, on undressing, \nand by warmth. Lupus. Indicated for the burning pains of dying cancer patients. Deafness associated with \nconstant sickness. \nAsthma, worse 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. (Ars. worse 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.). Sinus problems. Shortness of breath, \nhyperventilate with panic. Weak from going up stairs (Calc., Sil.). \nFainting spells and fear of fainting (Gels., Arg -n.). Pulsations in the body followed by shaking and trembling. \nSinking sensations. Fevers and shaking chills. Migraines, or fear of getting migraines, causing panic.  \nPanic stricken (Aeon.). Panic attacks, fear of having a panic attack.
