## Keynote Indications
Hydre. has a considerable reputation in leprosy and lupus,  when there is no ulceration. 
Elephantiasis. Excessive thickening of skin and marked exfoliation of skin.  
Copper colored eruptions in various places. 
Intolerable itching espec ially of soles, va gina. Very copious perspiration. Ulceration of the womb. Pains of 
cervical cancer. Difficulty in maintaining an upright posture. 
MEND - Weak concentration. Forgetful. Poor memory. Indifference. Gloomy thoughts, inclination for solitude.  
Misanthropy. Gaiety, loquacity.

## Symptoms by System

### Vertigo
- Vertigo with torpor.
- Vertigo with congestion and heaviness.
- COMMENTS - The skin and the female generative organs are the chief seats of the drug's action, though the 
liver, the nerves and the mucus membranes are also powerfully acted upon.
- Skin disorders including acne, eczema, pemphigus, lupus, copper-colored eruptions, papular eruptions on face 
and intolerable itching in various places.
- Granular ulceration.
- Gouty and rheumatic disorders.
- Bruised feeling 
in all the muscles.
- Affections of the trigeminus nerve.
- Aphthous and syphilitic stomatitis.
- Irrita tion of the neck of the bladder increased secretion of urine.
- Heat and 
itching in vagina.
- Weight in uterus.
- Weight in the “male uterus," the prostate gland.
- A patient who was taking Hydre, for eczema with advantage complained of persistent dreaming all the time he 
was asleep and an unpleasant mouth on waking in the morning.
- Auduit cured the case of a girl, 20, weak and sickly -looking, who was troubled with glandular swellings since 
childhood, and for eight years had lupus excedens of nose.
- Her mother had a coppery eruption on  her face.
- On the right of her nose was a button the size of a sixpence covered with a thick crust covering yellow pus 
mixed with blood.
- Margins were irregular and livid.
- Five other buttons the size of lentils were near the root of 
the nose on both sides.
- Hydre, was given in 6c, 3c, tincture and the 18c potencies in succession with intermissions and completely 
cured in five months.

### Head
- Headache with general lassitude and prostration.
- Congestion of blood to the head, heaviness.
- Painful 
drawing in almost all cranial nerves.
- Neuralgic pain in external frontal nerve.
- Intense pain with some swelling 
in posterior part of skull.
- Occiput acutely sensitive to touch.
- Constriction of bac k part of skull and scalp.
- Tinea 
favosa.
- Headache with general lassitude and prostration.
- Congestion of blood to the head, heaviness.

### Eyes
- Eyes look unsteady.
- Injection of palpebral conjunctiva.

### Ears
- Pain in left internal meatus.
- Throbbing in right ear, ringing in left with stoppage.
- Confused noise in left, 
blowing sound.

### Face
- Intoxicated expression.
- Intermittent pain in left cheekbone and about orbits.
- Neuralgic affections of 
supra and infraorbital nerves.
- Ulcer irregular and livid.
- Papular eruption.
- Copper colored eruption on face.
- Large tubercle on right alae nasi.
- Tubercles, as large as lentils, near root of nose at both sides and painless.

### Mouth
- Stomatitis aphthosa.
- Syphilitic patches in mouth.
- Whitish spots on left upper and under sides of 
tongue.
- Impediment in speech.
- Redness of velum palati with pain on swallowing, worse by food.
- Hyperemia 
of mucus membrane.
- Saliva increased.
- Insipid or bitter taste, unpleasant in morning.
- Nose - Dry coryza.
- Stoppage of nose.
- Swelling of nose.
- Tickling, worse left nostril.
- Feeling as before bleeding.
- Bleeding.
- Lupus excedens of nose.
- Perspiration - Profuse sweat.

### Throat
- Voiceweak.Tonsilsred.
- Esophagus is dry and rough.
- Burning and pricking in esophagus and pharynx.
- Disorder of constrictor muscles of pharynx.

### Chest
- Pustules on chest.
- Cardiac spasm.
- Stenosis of aorta.
- Constriction of heart with quiet and regular pulse or with a few 
separate beats in certain arteries or with hot flushes in different parts of the face.
- Irregular beating of heart.
- Pulse stronger and fuller.
- Kidneys - Slight formication in kidney.
- Constriction of bladder.
- Inflammation, irritation of neck of bladder.
- Irritation of urethra.
- Frequent desire to urinate, urine increased.
- Urine becomes brown on cooling.
- Urine turbid 
without sediment.
- Pricking in vicinity of glottis.
- Dry ness of windpipe of ventricles of larynx.
- Oppression of chest, which 
suddenly ceases and then returns at longeror shorter intervals.
- Breath short.
- Speaking soon fatigues.
- Irritation 
of air-passages.
- Difficult expectoration of bronchial mucus.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Anxiety in region of stomach.
- Belchings frequent, acid.
- Swelling of stomach.
- Cramping pain in 
stomach, without nausea.
- Contraction, cramp like pain.
- Se nsation as if gases collected into a ball.
- Heat in 
stomach region spreading out like a bar.
- Nausea.
- Temperature - Shivering in afternoon.
- Cold hands and feet with general condition resembling precursory stage 
of fever without alteration of pulse.
- Febrile movements.
- Heat of skin.
- Borborygmi in different parts.
- Flatus.
- Heat in hypogastrium.
- Wind colic.
- Rumbling in different parts.
- Violent contractions of intestines.
- Pain, 
every five minutes, worse transverse colon.
- Constriction.

### Urinary & Genital
- Drawing in spermatic cords, worse left.
- Feeling of weight in prostate gland.
- Acute and secondary 
gonorrhea.
- Suppressed gonorrhea.

- Indifference to intercourse.
- Impotence.
- Menses too early.
- Profuse leucorrhea.
- Pruritus of vagina.
- Shooting and itching in vagina.

- Severe labor -like pain in uterus and appendages.

- Partly fungus, partly granular ulcer on upper lip of neck of uterus, with profuse leucorrhea.

### Extremities
- Bruised feeling in the muscles.
- Rheumatic disorders.
- Gout with very severe paroxysms.
- Contractions 
of forearms and legs.
- Irresistible inclination to stretch.
- Pain in all joints, muscles, worse left.
- Sensations as if 
hot water r an through marrow of bones.
- Y ellowish spots on legs.
- Insupportable itching of soles of feet.
- Back of right foot was covered with small indurations, having a large thick crust.
- Liver - Cirrhosis of liver.
- Pain in upper part of liver.
- Obstruction in hepatic region.

### Neck & Back
- Renewal of old rheumatic pains in left rhomboid, worse pressure.
- Bruised  pain in loins.
- Obstruction in 
region of kidneys with heaviness.

### Skin
- Dry eruptions.
