Jones found that Helon. turned an alkaline urine acid, and increased the amount of urea as well as the \namount of urine secreted. Jones considered this the result of a condition of debility, venous paresis, the result \nof previous arterial tonic contraction. Burning in the lower third of abdomen. Pain in left side, as if in spleen, which feels as if distended, \ncausing a dull ache. Colic-like pains in hypogastric region off and on all day.
