# Gymnocladus Canadensis

## Keynote Indications
Gymn. causes numbness and blueness, especially of the tongue. Bluish-white coating of 
tongue. Sore throat, dark livid redness of fauces. 
“Erysipelatous swelling of face and head, hot face, it feels swollen is compelled to rub the eyes.” Hives.  
Headache, throbbing in forehead, temples and over eyes. Full, tight headache, with sensation as if the eyes 
were pushed forward. Burning in eyes. Full sensations and burning pains. Desire for heat and quiet.  
C. T. Bingham cured a man of headache following influenza “ a constant severe pain in front part of head, 
especially under eyebrows and upper part of nose.” 
It lasted over two weeks, ne ver ceasing and at times intolerable. Bones of eye -sockets were sore to touch. 
Tongue was covered all over with bluish-white coat, did not enjoy food. Very weak. Gym. 2x cured. 
Epidemic fevers of typhoid character have been cured by it.

Better from rest. Better rubbing eyes. Better leaning against something. Worse from cold. Worse 
cold drinks. Worse drafts. Worse walking. Aversion to motion, easily fatigued.

### Head
- Tight feeling, as if bound.

- As if were pushed forward, wants to rub them.
- Pain under brows into the nose.

### Face
- Erysipelatous swelling.
- Crawling as of flies over the face.

### Mouth
- Great sensibility of teeth, especially to cold air.
- Toothache from slightest cold air or drink.

### Throat
- Sore throat, dark livid redness of fauces and tonsils.
- Smarting in larynx.
- Sticking pain.
- Mucus in throat 
and hawking.
- Tongue - Bluish, white tongue.
- COMMENTS - Fever symptoms.
- Desire for heat, wants to be near the fire.
- Cold chills and pains in bowels.
- Perspiration in axillary regions and palms.
- Toothache from slightest cold air or drink.
- Violent pain in left forearm 
as if the bones were crushed.

### Chest
- Pressure on chest and sternum.
- Tickling with dry, hard, racking cough.
- Tickling in throat in morning causing cough, increasing through 
day.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Hot, sour belchings.
- Burning spot in stomach.
- Pain in left side as if  spleen were swollen.
- Soreness and tenderness of abdomen.
- Stitches in 
bowels and umbilical region.
- Bladder - Pressure on bladder.
- Frequent desire to urinate, urine passed in a small stream.

### Urinary & Genital
- Itching of gland and prepuce.

### Extremities
- Violent pain in left forearm, in radius, as if bones were crushed and broken.
- Pulsation  in left index 
finger, as if panaritium were forming.
