## Keynote Indications
Under the use of the drug, the blood in hemorrhages becomes darker, clots more easily 
and is much less in quantity. The root contains both tannic and gallic acids. 
There are two fragmentary provings of Ger. one made with root preparations, one with infusion of the plant. 
The chief symptoms observed have been diplopia and other disorders of vision and a constant and ineffectual 
desire for stool. 
Migraines, habitual sick headaches. Profuse, hemorrhages, pulmonary and from different organs. Vomiting 
of blood. Ulceration of stomach. Atonic and foul ulcers. Summer complaints. 
Breasts - Sore nipples (Eup-a.).

## Symptoms by System

### Vertigo
- Vertigo with diplopia.
- Vertigo better closing eyes.
- Vertigo with blurred vision and constant ineffectual 
urging to stool.

### Head
- Giddiness with diplopia, better closing eyes.
- Sick headache.
- Slight pain in occiput, low down.

### Eyes
- Ptosis and dilated pupils.
- Fullness in the ey es.
- Great difficulty in walking with eyes open, though he 
could walk with them closed.

### Mouth

- Pharyngitis.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Catarrhal gastritis with profuse secretion.
- Lessens the vomiting in ga stric ulcers.
- Tendency to 
ulceration and passive hemorrhage.

### Urinary & Genital
- Menses too profuse.
- Post-partum hemorrhage.
