The dog, which was \nperfectly strong and healthy, received 40 drops of the tincture one morning. No result followed that day and \nthe dose was repeated the next morning. \nThe animal commenced and continued to vomit blood of a bright red color. It kept very quiet and was unwilling \nto move. After three doses of five drops of the tincture given in quick succession, the vomiting ceased. The \nsame treatment (minute doses of the remedy) was effectual in arresting the effects of the drug throughout the \nprovings. \nMrs. Ghose took the tincture in 20-drop doses repeatedly throughout two days. On the third day dysentery and \nmenorrhagia set in simultaneously. The blood was bright red. \nOther symptoms included a headache, very weak a nd restless, sight dim, burning at the top of the head.
