# Ferrum Sulphuricum

## Keynote Indications
Ferr-s. has the leading features of the other Ferrums, but many of the Sulphur characters 
appear, especially in the modalities. There is worse from warmth or warm room, better from cold air, ice, or 
fresh air. 
Acidity and belchings of food in  particles (Sulph.). Watery and painless stools. Sensa tion of fermentation or 
purring in stomach. Pain in gallbladder. Toothache. Basedow's disease. 
Passive hemorrhages. Pallor or flushing. Sensation as if all the blood were rushing into head and face. 
Menorrhagia. Pressing, throbbing between periods with rush of blood to head.  
Muscular pains or contractions. Weakness. Local atony, disposition to congestions. Nettle rash, aphthae, 
eczema with sluggish liver. Feeling of general heat and disposition to sweat  with sensation in skin of back as 
if he wore a stout woolen shirt. 
COMMENTS - This remedy has been employed in diarrhea when the stools are watery, reddish-brown. Stools, 
odorless and painless. There is great pallor of the skin, emaciation, anemia. Edema of the lower limbs. Affects 
the blood-vessels and heart. Anemic murmurs. 
Also in menorrhagia, when the flow is of long duration and is profuse. There is a pressing, throbbing between 
the periods, with ringing in the ears and a sensation as though the blood  were rushing to the face. Face is 
scarlet red. The bowels are constipated, and there is loss of appetite.
