Cooper described it as the failure of an organ under exertion which \nwould not ordinarily strain it, e.g., failure of the voice in public speakers. \nNoises in the ears. Nervous deafness, \u201cdiffused vasculitis.\u201d \n \n \nDr. Cooper was led to give Ferr -pic. in cases of warts by a symptom produced in a patient to whom he was \ngiving it for deafness, \u201csensation as if a wart were growing on the thumb.\u201d \nCooper observed that warts, especially old pedunculated warts, frequently accompany chronic deafness. He \nconsidered it especi ally indicated for multiple warts on the hand, and noted a case of lupoid warts cured by it. \nP. C. Majumdar cured a student suffering from anemia and malarious fever off and on for a y ear. The student \nhad impaired hearing of both ears, buzzing, hissing, and vertigo. Indigestion, headache and tired feeling after \nbodily or mental exertion. Majumdar considered Ferr -pic. suited to the results of malarious fever, sexual \nexcesses and blood loss. \nIt has a specific action in the prostate gland. Puller cured with it a case of albuminuria. Dudley Wright confirmed \nCooper's observation that it will frequently control senile prostate hypertrophy. \nDr. Mende considers Ferr-pic. almost specific in nosebleed. \nFerr-pic. is apt to aggravate if given too low.
