## Keynote Indications
Ferrum iodatum has been independently proved, and corresponds more particularly to 
scrofulous affection, glandular enlargement and tumors. 
Grimmer used Ferr-i. for breast tumors, cancer, exophthalmic goiter inflammation and enlargement of glands, 
symptoms and conditions based on the tubercular diathesis. Berridge removed with Fen -i. “Morning catarrh, 
hot and restless in bed, sweet smell of urine.” 
“Food seems to push up to throat as if it has not been swallowed,” somewhat like the Ferr. symptom “as if 
something rolled into ihroal and closed il like a valve. "Sharpor cutting pains in the eyes, ears and root of nose 
to occiput. Sensation as if lying in a cramped position. 
Anemia. Body emaciated. Debility fol lowing drain upon vital forces. Impetigo of the cheek. Crops of boils. 
Acute nephritis following eruptive diseases. Exophthalmic goiter foll owing suppression of menses. Uterine 
displacements. Breast tumors, cancer and conditions based on the tubercular diathesis.

### Face

### Mouth
- Salivation.
- Sudden bleeding of gums.
- Offensive taste.
- Metallic, bitter taste.
- Flat, insipid tas te.

- Dryness of mouth and throat.
- Mucus membrane of mouth bright red or dotted with red.
- Nose - Nose dry, stopped up.
- Blowing nose gives no relief.
- Coryza.
- Scrofulous swelling of nose, with ulcers 
and crusts inside.
- Discharge of mucus from nose, trachea, and larynx.
- Discharge all day, with stuffed-up feeling 
at night.
- Discharge thick, yellow or green.
- Perspiration - Sweat at night is cold and copious, and comes from the least exertion.

### Throat
- Sore pain, as if of a splinter, shoot ing in different directions.
- Hoarse.
- Violent scraping and tickling in 
throat and nose.
- Frequent rattling of mucus in throat.
- Tongue - Burning on tongue.
- Tongue coated thickly yellow.

### Chest
- Oppression of chest with inclination to lie on back.
- Pressure beneath sternum.
- Constitutions - Suited to scrofulous or mercurial diathesis to subjects of relaxed tissue (tuberculosis in the 
third stage, bronchorrhea, pneumonia).
- Cough - Hemoptysis.
- Short, hacking cough with yellowish-white, thick expectoration.
- Palpitations at night.
- Heartbeats seems to go into stomach, and cause a nervous, trembling feeling.
- Bloodvessels throb all over, even when quiet.
- Violent beating of heart on rising or when turn ing in bed.
- Kidneys - Difficulty in retaining  urine.
