Diphtherinum is prepared from the toxin of Diphtheri a All such
remedies prepared from the toxic ma terial obtained from diseases are
called Nosode.
In general, the Nosode is not used to treat the sickness
from which it has been derived; but rather for the treatment of similar
types of ailments.
Yet, the admi nistration of Dipht herinum affects
conspicuously on Diphtheria.
In this way, it is a very important
treatment for Diphtheria.
So far no better medicine or remedy has
been found as effective for Diphtheria.
The traditional anti-Diphtheria
vaccination is no match to it re garding prevention.
