## Keynote Indications
Chloralum hydratum was used in physiological doses is a powe rful hypnotic and cardiac 
depressant. Introduced as hypnotic, Chlol. soon showed that it pos sessed wide powers of disturbing the 
organism and many people (including the late Professor Tyndall) were fatally poisoned by overdosing.  
A person under the influence of Chlol. hears voices, sees visions of arches, etc., 
when in the dark or when the eyes are shut. Emotional excitability, hallucinations. Night -terrors in children. 
Marked effect on the skin, producing rashes, erythema, ecchymosis, purpura etc. These symptoms have been 
used homeopathically with much success, especially in the treatment of allergic hives.  
Marked action on respiratory organs. The brain, eyes, urinary and sexual organs and skin are most affected. 
 
 
Inflamed and ulcerated mucus membranes. Muscular prostration. Spasms of the glottis. Marked sensation of 
constriction. Patients rapidly emaciate.

Wants fanning, open air. Better  from open air. Better motion. Worse from expiration. Worse 
evening, night, after midnight. Worse lying down. Worse after hot drinks. Worse stimulants. Worse eating.
