## Keynote Indications
This is one of the salts of Chin, that combines the Chin, physical symptoms and Ars. mental 
symptoms. The Arsenite of Quinine combines many of the properties of its components, but having been 
proved, it can be treated as a separate medicine. Useful in diphtheria with great prostration, especially cases 
that are prolonged, and in malarial affections, neuralgia, etc. 
Weariness and prostration,  useful as a general tonic, often with very marked beneficial and prompt  effect. 
Continuous fever with oscillating temperature. Profuse, exhaustive sweat, at night.  
Stomach pain, pressure in solar plexus with tender spine just at back of it. Hyperacidity alternating with 
decrease of acidity. Anorexia. Eggs and fish produce di arrhea. Nausea and vomiting, followed by sleep. 
Sleeplessness due to nervous causes. 
Periodic asthmatic attacks with great prostration. Shortness of breath on ascend- 
ing. Palpitations. Sensation as if heart had stopped. Icy skin. Coldness of hands and fee t, knees and limbs. 
The periodicity is intensified and this is especially noted in the neuralgias. An ir ritable mood precedes the 
headache, which is worse by mental and bodily exercise.

Better by motion (vertigo). Better by eating (gastralgia). Better yawning. Better pressure. Bet ter 
bending forwards. Better open air. Better sitting up. Worse rest, morning, forenoon. Worse when stomach is 
empty. Worse looking up. Worse motion. Worse on ascending.

### Vertigo
- Sudden attacks of vertigo.
- V ertigo is worse looking up.
- COMMENTS - Bonino, who gave it aprolonged proving, found the chief effects were mani fested on the 
stomach, solar plexus, ligaments and skin.
- According to him, it corresponds to tobacco intoxication and its 
effects, indigestion from unripe fruits, and stomach pain from coarse food or ill-baked bread.
- Marked weakness, prostration and dis inclination for mental exertion.

### Ears
- Ringing in ears like bells, with congestion towards head.
- Noise in ears and dullness of hearing.

### Face
- Pale, sallow and bloated face, inter mittent fever.
- Trembling of facial muscles,  especially orbicularis 
palpebrum.
- Swell ing of submaxillary and parotid glands, in diphtheria.
- Dull pain in left temporal region at 
articulation of lower jaw.
- Face pale, sallow bloated.
- Blueness of lips, in tuberculosis.

### Mouth
- Burning canker spot on inside of left upper lip.
- Fetid breath, in diphtheria and scarlatina.
- Tongue 
thickly furred.
- Yellow, slimy coating on tongue.
- Dryness in roof of mouth, gnawing and nausea.
- Sweetish taste 
after clearing throat and coughing.

### Throat
- Throat feels sore and raw, worse coughing and sneezing.

### Chest
- Severe stitching pains in chest, later in précordia, worse on inspiration.

mediastinum, in front at left of breastbone.
- Intercostal neuralgia.

- Peculiar pain, dull with p ressure, as if caused by flatulence, coming and going rapidly.
- Chest as if hollow or 
full.
- Paralysis of respiratory muscles on left side.
- Cardiac dyspnea, circulatory weakness after acute infections, early myo cardial degeneration.
- Short 
of breath on ascending, cardiac dyspnea.
- Palpitations.
- Sensation as if heart stopped.
- Suffocative attacks, 
occurring in periodical parox ysms.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Burning, sore feeling in stom ach, worse motion,  going up stairs, better expanding chest.
- Hyperacidity (Rob., Arg -n.).
- Alternation of hyperacidity and decrease of acid.
- Sour bitter eructations.
- Regurgitation of food.
- Hiccough and belching, followed by urging to stool.
- Empty sensation.
- Nausea with 
waning strength, especially of lower limbs.
- Nausea and vomiting followed by sleep.
- Sensation from stomach 
through entire intestinal canal as if diarrhea would set in.
- Nausea and vomiting, followed by sleep, with 
hemicrania.

- Chill comes in waves in evening, with 
Chinum arsenicosum restlessness, gooseflesh, worse moving hands and feet to a cool place in bed, also on

### Urinary & Genital
- Peculiar burning ache about bladder sphincter and throughout urethra.

### Extremities
- Weak limbs.
- Coldness of limbs.
- Tearing pains.
- Pain in left wrist, stiffness of left arm.
- Pain of fatigue 
in right wrist.
- Burning pa in as in periosteum of left el bow.
- Annoying feeling of fatigue in right shoulder.
- Sore, 
tired aching in joints, bones and muscles.
- Tearing pains.
- Coldness of hands and feet, knees and limbs.

### Neck & Back
- Pain in muscles between left shoulder and neck, as if sprained, on rising from sleep, 4 p.m.
- Back feels 
weak as after a long journey.
- Causations - Ill effects of tobacco.
- Fright.
- Eggs and fish produce diarrhea.

### Skin
- Goose bumps, especially of lower extremities.
- Dry skin, pallor of skin, with rapid exhaustion.
- Periodical 
furuncles and abscesses.
- Burning, erysipelatous redness and violent itching, worse by warmth, better by cold.

### Sleep
- Sleeplessness due to nervous causes.
- Deep sleep after suffocative attacks.
- Goes to sleep after tea 
and sleeps heavily all night.
- Sleep frequently interrupted.
- Restless sleep.
- Restless until 3 a.m., constantly 
changing position, particularly as soon as pillow becomes warm.
- Awakes from sleep exhausted and bathed in 
sweat after attack of dyspnea.
