It is used in the treatment of symptoms related to the spleen .\nThe spleen is commonly afflicted by malaria.  Such patient suffers\nfrom deficiency of Haemoglobin (red blood content) - anaemia.  Its\nsymptoms are in general, more prominent on the left side.  The side\nfeels heavy and swollen.  If only the liver is enlarged, the upper part of\nthe belly feels hard on the right side ; but if both spl een and the liver\nare enlarged, both sides feel har d.  To my knowledge, there is no\nbetter treatment for splenic disord ers than Ceanothus.  When the\nspleen is hardened, the blood vessels al so harden.  This results in high\npressure in the veins of the spleen and liver (chronic portal\nhypertension); Ceanothus lowers this pressure.  The commonly\ndescribed high blood pressure (hypertension) is usually related to the\nheart and the kidneys. However Cea nothus should be used in portal\nhypertension due to the liver and spleen derangement.\n\nVery often, anaemic women suffer from continuous vaginal\nbleeding, which is like thin, diluted bl ood. Ceanothus is very useful\nfor combating this situation too.\n\nThe patient of liver and spleen often suffers either from constipation\nor diarrhoea. The Ceanothus patient usually has diarrhoea.  Urination\nis frequent, the urine being frothy a nd greenish in colour.  It contains\nboth bile pigment and sugar .  In this regard, another medicine,\nTinospora Cordifolia is worth men tioning.  This is an ayurvedic\nmedicine specially used for spleen  problems and has be found to be\nquite useful.\n\nThe symptoms of Ceanothus aggrav ate on movement and from lying\non the left side.\n\nPotency: Mother Tincture or 1X","modalities":"","symptoms_by_system":[],"schema_version":"1.0","api_provider":"Allahshafi"}
