Source: Derived from the dried body of Lytta vesicatoria (Spanish fly), a beetle in the Meloidae. family, prepared for homeopathic use through trituration, serial dilution, and succussion to eliminate. toxicity and enhance therapeutic action. Traditional Context : Historically employed in homeopathy for  urinary, dermatological, and. inflammatory disorders , particularly those involving burning pains, intense irritation, and rapid. onset. It is noted for symptoms such as scalding urination, blistering skin, and restlessness, often. aggravated by touch, cold drinks, or urination, and ameliorated by warmth, rest, or rubbing. Modern Context: Indicated for urinary tract disorders  (e.g., cystitis, urethritis), dermatological. conditions (e.g.,  burns,  blisters),  gastrointestinal  issues (e.g.,  gastritis,  colitis),  neurological. complaints (e.g., neuralgia, mania), and psychological conditions (e.g., anxiety, agitation).
