It comes next to\nCalcarea Sulph.  About Calcarea Ars, Dr. Kent is of the opinion that it\ncan cure epilepsy completely.  In  my opinion, every kind of epilepsy\nis not curable.  Epilepsy which is secondary to the structural deformity\nof the head needs to be treated surgically.\n\nIn Calcarea Ars, there is a tendency towards twitching of the\nmuscles, as well as paralytic weakne ss.  In fact, calcium causes\nprofound weakness even if slightly  imbalanced in the body.  The\nblood pressure  is also affected and sometimes the patient can\nsuddenly collapse. When  the acidity of the stomach is\nproperly treated, the condition of this  kind of serious weakness will\nleave forever.\n\nThe weakness that is observed in Ca lcarea Ars is not necessarily a\nsign of epilepsy.  Arsenic is a part of the compound of Calcarea Ars.\nIt has the tendency to produce an excessive amount of acid in the\nstomach. In\nsome patients, the aura starts at the stomach, while in others it starts at\nthe heart.  For example, the heart has a  sinking feeling with a\nsensation of fright.  In Calcarea Ars, the aura always starts at the heart.\nSo if the patient notices somethi ng strange happening over the heart\nand the fit is like that of epilepsy, Calcarea Ars has the capability to\ncompletely cure this condition. The headache in Calcar ea Ars is just the reverse of the\nheadache in Cimicifuga.  In Cimici fuga, the pain becomes intense on\nlying on the affected side.  In fact, local pressure on the affected side\nmay provoke twitching of the muscles.   In Calcarea Ars, the person\nwill feel pain on the side opposite to the one he lies on.  If he lies on\nthe right side, his headache would be on the left side , and vice-\nversa.  This is typical of Cal carea Ars.  Any chronic headache\nshowing this kind of pattern will be most responsive to Calcarea Ars.\nOther than this, there is no other specific sign of the headache in\nCalcarea Ars.\n\nEczema develops on the skin of the face and the scalp .  The\nkidneys hurt, the pain being the result of inflammation rather than of a\nstone in the kidneys.  In Calcarea Ar s, the leucorrhoeal discharge is\nyellowish and is corrosive like ac id.  Sometimes, this type of\nleucorrhoea can also cause psychiatric complications.  In the\ntreatment of this kind of leucorrhoea, Kali P hos and Arsenic are also\nuseful remedies.
