Bromium is deeply related to all kinds of\ninflammation of the glands but most homoeopaths do not use it.  It is\nvery useful in the treatment of all thyroid conditions. Bromium must\nbe remembered if the glands become very hard, and keep on gradually\nincreasing in size when other remedi es are not effective.  Bromium\nhas the capability of gradually so ftening the hardened lymph glands\nbut it must be used in increasing potencies over a long period of time.\nIt should be started in potency 30, then it should be increased to 200,\nand then after some time, it should be given in 1000 and then in still\nhigher potency, and then stopped.\n\nIn Bromium, ulcers often develop in the stomach .  Bromium is\nextremely useful when the vomitus is of ground coffee colour and\nthere is an ulcer in the stomach w ith the tendency of enlargement of\nthe glands.  In fact, it is very  important for the treatment of cancer of\nthe stomach . Bromium is also very useful for the treatment of\nlaryngitis, as it has a tendency towards ulcer formation. Even if such\npatients become asthmatic they  would favourably respond to\nBromium.  The burning sensation a nd pain at the sternum is also a\nsign of Bromium.  Convulsions also occur.  It is useful for the\ntreatment of suffocation.
