It has been\nused for treating the eczema of children.  It is an excellent treatment\nfor patients who have eczema and also  have a tendency to bleed and\nstammer. This symptom\nis also present in Natrum Mur, but its sores rather feel raw and do not\nform scabs.  In Bovista, like in Coccus, the catarrhal discharge is\nthready.  The nose and the gums blee d.  There is itching of the scalp,\nalong with the sensation of faint headache.  In Bovista the person feels\nuncomfortable in tight clothes.  In fact, any kind of tight fit is\nbothersome.  This symptom is also present in Lachesis.\n\nIn Bovista, sometimes the patient gets diarrhoea between two\nmenstrual periods.  The bleeding is before time and plentiful.  This\ncan also be followed by thick greenish leucorrhoea.  Sometimes there\nis light inter-menstrual bleeding or spotting.  The pain is at around the\nnavel and feels relieved on bending forwards.  Sometimes, during a\ncolicky abdominal pain, the urine may become red in appearance.\nOne peculiar sign of Bovista is th at food somewhat relieves the\ncolicky pain.\n\nIn Bovista, there is sweating of the armpits, smelling of onion .\nThere is eczema on the back of th e hands.  The skin symptoms are\naggravated by excitement and mental  anguish.  In Bovista, when the\nskin is pressed, the skin pits and stays for some time.  The skin\nsymptoms become worse with heat.\n\nFor a chronic type of urticaria that does not re spond to Rhus Tox,\nBovista may offer a complete cure.  Its effect may be compared with\nCalcarea, Rhus Tox, Sepia and Cieuta.  This comparison will help the\ntreating physician to better diagnos e and treat.  Some books mention\nthe use of potency 3 to 6 but expe rience shows that potency 30 is the\nbest in daily situations.  The Bovist a patient may feel itchiness at the\nanus even in the absence of any eczematous symptoms.  Pimples form\non the entire body.  The urticaria develops in the morning and taking a\nshower proves harmful.
