Source: Derived from sodium borate (Na₂B₄O₇·10H₂O), a naturally occurring mineral, prepared for. homeopathic use through potentization involving serial dilution and succussion to eliminate toxicity. and enhance therapeutic action. Traditional Context : Historically employed in homeopathy for  mucocutaneous, neurological,. and  psychological  disorders,  particularly  those  involving  hypersensitivity  to  noise,  fear  of. downward motion, and mucous membrane affections. It is noted for symptoms such as oral ulcers,. vertigo, and anxiety, often aggravated by downward motion, noise, or warmth, and ameliorated by. rest, cool air, or pressure. Modern Context : Indicated for  mucocutaneous conditions  (e.g., aphthous ulcers, candidiasis),. neurological  disorders (e.g.,  vertigo,  sensory  hypersensitivity),  and  psychological  conditions. (e.g., anxiety disorders, phobias). It suits patients with acute or chronic symptoms characterized by. mucous  membrane  irritation,  vertigo,  hypersensitivity  to  stimuli,  and  anxiety,  typically. exacerbated by downward motion, noise, or warmth, and often seen in individuals with a history of. oral ulcers, sensory sensitivities, or stress-related disorders. The remedy is particularly relevant for. those with a sensitive, nervous constitution, often presenting with physical symptoms like mouth. sores or dizziness alongside emotional traits like fearfulness or irritability, commonly observed in. children,  women  with  hormonal  imbalances,  or  patients  with  chronic  mucocutaneous  or. neurological complaints.

### Vertigo
- Fits of vertigo with fainting.
- Vertigo, with fullness in the head.

- COMMENTS - A piece of borax, the size of a pea, dissolved in the mouth, acts magically in restoring the voice 
in cases of sudden hoarseness brought on by cold and frequently for an hour or so, it renders the voice silvery 
and clear.
- It has even cured “shot-shyness ’’ in sporting dogs.
