## Keynote Indications
Bar-i. has been used empirically, especially in cases of glandular enlargement and new 
growths. The indications are suggested by its two elements. This remedy is used clinically for enlarged and 
indurated glands especially the tonsils and breasts. 
Bar-i. has been used in breast cancer, breast tumors, breast cancer after trauma (Arn., Bell-p., Calen., Con.). 
Tumors and cancers following blows or other injuries (Con.), cuts, punctured wounds, or abrasions.  
Acts on the lymphatic system, increased leucocytosis. Quinsy. Strumous ophthalmia with tumefaction of 
cervical glands and stunted growth.

## Modalities (Aggravations / Ameliorations)
Better from cold open air. Worse from walking. 
COMMENTS - Grimmer noted that Bar -i. has been used for breast cancer,  breast tumors and 
eniargedglands.Breastcancersaftertrauma. Tumors and cancers following blows or other injuries, cuts 
punctured wounds, abrasions. Indications are from the provings of the two remedies making up the compound.
