The ailments relate d to it revolve around the heart, and\nlike Aurum Metallicum, affect the liver and heart together.  The\npatient passes urea in the urine .  The blood urea is also high.  It is\nalso found effective against glandular diseases.  On that basis, it is\nused in cancers of the glands .  If the symptoms present are specific\nfor Aurum Muriaticum, this particular remedy can offer cure even in\ndangerous cancer.\n\nThe typical symptom of Aurum Muriaticum is the pain which,\nwherever it manifests, will be associated with a burning sensation.\nSymptoms ameliorate in cold, damp environment , but intensify in\nhot muggy weather.  There is a tendency towards committing\nsuicide like Aurum  Metallicum but the patient does not like to be\naloof and is ill-tempered, irritable, and rather quarrelsome.\n\nThrobbing is a sign of Aurum Muriaticum ailments. Aurum\nMuriaticum is useful in syphilis-like symptoms of the eyes, associated\nwith decay and destruction of the bones .  The vision is decreased in\nartificial lighting.  Thus Aurum Muriaticum would significantly\nimprove eyesight which, although othe rwise normal, is blurred in the\nnightlight.\n\nIn Aurum Mur patients, music particularly relieves the ear\nsymptoms.  At night, the skin behind the ears burns and itches.\nAurum Mur is also very affective against the chronic nasal problems\nand old nasal catarrh.\n\nIn Aurum Muriaticum patient, if the thick scabs in the nose are\nattempted to be removed, bleeding ensues.  The discharge is\nyellowish-green. Aurum Mur is al so reported to be useful in Lupus-\nlike conditions at the margin of the nostrils.\n\nIn Aurum Mur, the stools are either greenish or clay coloured.  This\nindicates liver dysfunction.  Many a time, the stools are whitish.\nStools are more frequent at night, and so is th e urination.  There may\neven be bed-wetting at night.  Salivation from the mouth is excessive.\n\nAurum Mur is very effective in the enlargement of the uterus\nassociated with hardening, especially the cervical part of the uterus.\nCarbo Animalis, Tarentula-Hispania, Lapis Albus are also very useful\nin cervical problems.  When sleep lessness is secondary to mental\nanguish and associated with a throbbing sensation, Aurum Muriaticum\nmay also be useful (in addition to  other Homoeopathic remedies for\nthis condition).  Such a patient e xperiences sadistic  or sorrowful\ndreams. He usually experiences the dream relating to his own ailment.\nWhen the disease is too advanced , the dreams are of extreme horror\nwhile sorrowful dreams indicate that th e illness is in the early stage,\nand that recovery may be expect ed soon.  Many homoeopaths believe\nthat Pulsatilla and Kali Sulph are similar to Aurum Muriaticum but\nthis is not true.\n\nDuring early pregnancy, especially if detected on the first day, a single\ndose of Aurum Mur CM, by Allah\u2019s grace, usually brings about the\nbirth of a son .  Delayed use of Aurum Mur is much less predictable.\nNevertheless, this is not a sure formula.  I have noticed some women\nhave delivered baby girls even after taking Aurum Muriaticum the\nnext morning of the pregnancy, but whose next children were male-\nborn.  In my experience, some women who take Aurum Muriaticum\nCM may not even conceive sometime s.  When they do, their chances\nof having a baby boy born to them are 80% or even more. Aurum\nMuriaticum is well-known in this aspect.  I receive scores of letters\nevery year to that effect.  For in stance, a lady wrote to me from\nLahore, Pakistan.
