## Keynote Indications
Aurum bromatum was recommended by Dr. E. M. Hale as being su perior to other
preparations of gold, especially in certain nervous disorders of an epileptiform character, such as migraine,
night terrors, sleepwalking.

Valvular diseases of the heart and hypertrophy, attacks of faintness with coldness and feeble pulse alternating
with attacks of congestion and red face with palpitations. In headaches with neurasth enia, megrim, night
terrors, valvular diseases.
COMMENTS - Hale writes: “In the physi ological hypertrophies of young persons at puberty, of pregnant
women, and at the climacteric period, I prefer the bromide of gold in the 6x trituration.
It will prevent the pathological hypertrophy which often threatens.”
“Besides the class of disorders enumer ated, this preparation of gold is very useful in reflex mental affections
from uterine or ovarian irritation. I do not consider the suicidal despondency a necessar y symptom. It is often
indicated in just the opposite state when there is exalted sensitiveness, great mental exhilaration and unnatural
gaiety.”
