## Keynote Indications
The well -known effects of shellfish, as well as of other fish, in producing nettle rash is 
exemplifi ed in Astacus more than all other varieties. The lacquer workers of the East have discovered that the 
river-crab is the best antidote to the effects of Rhus-t., which they employ in their craft. 
The liver is markedly affected and a great characteristic is “ nettle-rash with liver com plaint.” Pain and 
tenderness of the liver, jaundice, stools of pipe-clay color. Jaundice in children. Skin symptoms. Urticaria, with 
liver complaints. Itching of various parts. Stinging pains are felt in various parts. Nervous cr awls over body. 
Crusta lactea with enlarged lymphatic glands. Enlarged glands of the neck in children and the elderly. Tumors. 
Gout from drinking alcohol. Inward chilliness and sensitiveness to air, worse uncovering. Violent fever with 
headache, glowing red face inward chilliness.
