## Keynote Indications
Like the other Artemisias, this remedy has a prominent place in convulsive diseases. Some 
reputation as a remedy for epileptic conditions and convulsive diseases of childhood and girls at puberty. Acts 
better when given with wine than with water. 
Excitable and irritable before attack of epilepsy. Epilepsy after fright or grief after a blow on the head  with 
menstrual disturbances with teething. 
Attack accompanied or followed by profuse offensive sweat, by seminal ejaculations. Profuse sweat, having a 
peculiar fetid, cadaverous or garlic-like odor is a characteristic of the remedy. 
Attacks frequently repeated, then fol lowed by a long interval of rest. Petit mal. Epilepsy without aura after 
fright and other violent emotions. Epilepsy after masturbation. Several convulsions close together. Irregular or 
deficient menstruation with epileptic convulsions. 
Violent cramps in abdomen with irregular insufficient menstruation. Nervous chlorosis with very dry skin. 
Chorea with inability to swallow. Colored light produces dizziness. Worms. Right side convulsed, left paralyzed.

### Vertigo
- Vertigo caused by colored lights, but not by white light.

heated from dancing.
- Epilepsy from menstrual disturbances.
- Nightly epilepsy with violent trismus injuring teeth.
- During epileptic attacks violent sweat of of fensive odor.
- Long and deep sleep after a fit.
- Sleepwalking.
- Congestion of the brain and spine.
- Hydrocephalus.

### Head
- Drawn back by spasmodic twitch - ings.
- Head bent backwards and sideways.
- Congestion of brain.
- Sharp shooting pains through the head.
- Kidneys - Urine increased, yellowish.
- Obstinate strangury in a child.

### Eyes
- Colored light produces dizziness.
- Pain and burning of vision, better rubbing, worse using eyes.

### Face
- Twitching in the face, mouth drawn to left Face looks older.

### Mouth
- Mouth drawn to left.
- Chewing motion of gums, grinding teeth.
- Lower jaw pressed forward.
- Bites tongue 
in spasms.
- Speech unintelligible, can utter but single words, and these only with great exertion.
- Perspiration -Profuse sweat, smelling like garlic.
- Sweats during epil eptic attacks.
- Sweating is a sign of 
relief.
- Warm sweat all over, most on occiput.

### Throat
- S wallowing difficult, food escapes from the mouth.

### Chest
- Rattling breathing with the spasms.
- Breathing checked, suddenly a deep inspi ration ends the attack, 
catalepsy.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Nausea and vomiting.
- Cramps in stomach.
- Teeth - Grinding of teeth, forth at mouth, thumbs drawn into fist, eyes half open, drawn upwards.
- Temperature - Chilly, feels unwell with drawing in limbs Coldness of body.
- Violent cramps in abdomen.
- Causations - Blow on head.
- Fright, grief or bad news.
- Masturbation.
- Constitutions - It has a prominent place in convulsive diseases of childhood and girls at puberty.
- Hunger, but cannot get the food down.

### Urinary & Genital
- Nightly pollutions.
- Seminal ejaculations with the spasm.
- Irregular or deficient menstrua tion with epileptic convulsions.
- Profuse menses.
- Violent uterine 
contractions.
- Spasms during menses.
- Prolapsed uterus.
- Nervous chlorosis, with very dry skin.
- Violent 
contractions of pregnant uterus, threatened miscarriage.
- Checked lochia.
- Eclampsia.

### Extremities
