The patient of Arsenic\nIodide shows contrasting clinical pictures of Arsenic and sometimes\nof Iodine. However, these two re medies, have opposing symptoms.\nSo diagnosis needs to be carefully established.\n\nArsenic Iodide is a very wide -ranging homoeopathic remedy.  Its\ndischarges are abrasive in nature and make the exiting orifice red and\ninflamed with burning.  The inner lining of the nose becomes swollen\nand rather indurate.  Inflammation of  the ear-tubes (Eustachian tubes)\nleading into the ear can cause deafness.\n\nArsenic Iodide is extremely effective in all kinds of diseases of the\nlungs, including the lung cavities.  For this reason, it is very\ncommonly used in tuberculosis and ch ronic bronchitis associated with\nabundant expectoration.\n\nIt is also very useful in Lupus and skin cancer.  It also, very\neffectively stops the growth of ovarian cancer though it may not\neradicate it.  Dr. Kent is of the op inion that Arsenic Iodide is very\nuseful in stopping the growth of any kind of cancer . A cold chill and numbness radiates\ndown the left leg.  The wrist aches on writing. The patient feels cold\nthough he sweats at the same time.\n\nWhen symptoms of Arsenic Iodide are aggravated, the patient feels\nnauseous and very thirsty.  After drinking water he throws up (as in\nPhosphorus) soon after.  There is intense pain in the stomach which\nis relieved by bending over forward as in Colocynth.  Frequent stools\nthat start early in the morning ar e associated with severe gripe\ninflammation.  The stomach becomes bl oated with gas.
