Brewer recorded a proving in which the prover, a young man, took on three consecutive days one grain \n \n \na day of Arg-n. triturated with sugar of milk. A number of motor and sensory symptoms were elicited, reminding \nBrewer of locomotor ataxia for which it has been used with success by old- school practitioners. \nThis use also has led to many cases of ar- gyria.
