It is  a first-rate treatment for ulcers and\nbleeding.  Most homoeopaths use it sparingly but I have found it to be\nvery useful in my practice.  Abscesses developing in inflamed glands\nare hard and bundled together.  They exhibit an ugly, bluish\ndiscolouration and are painful, but  do not progress to softening and\npus formation.  For such boils, Anthracinum is a sure-shot\nhomoeopathic remedy, resulting in cure within a month or two.\n\nChronic wounds and ulcers of the in ternal organs, which exude blood\nand have a tendency to turn into ca ncer, can possibly be treated with\nAnthracinum.  Anthracinum is also very useful in the treatment of\ndeep wounds, which rip the skin apart and bleed.  In view of this\nsymptom, I am of the opinion th at Anthracinum would also be\nbeneficial in Ulcerative Colitis (in which, the lining of the large gut\ndisintegrates, ulcerate s and bleeds).  In the allopathic system of\ntreatment, there is no definite cure for this disease.  The medicines\nused only temporarily control the disease, and have side effects.  Only\nthe surgical removal of the diseased  part of the colon offers cure.\nWhen a disease has been merely suppressed by inappropriate\nmedication, this may lead to Ul cerative Colitis.  I have found\nAnthracinum to be very useful in such medically induced colitis.\n\nAnthracinum not only has the capabili ty of curing chronic sores and\nabscesses, but also prevents their recurrence.   Anthracinum can be\nuseful in combating the persistent, dark bleeding from any part of the\nbody.\n\nAntidotes: Apis, Camphor, Carbo Veg, Kreosote, Silicea, Rhus\nTox\nPotency: 30 to 200","modalities":"","symptoms_by_system":[],"schema_version":"1.0","api_provider":"Allahshafi"}
