The\nmemory is weak , and there is feeling of a nger or grief along with a\ndislike for every kind of activity.\n\nThe Aesculus children have poor memory.  They are angry by nature\nand if they are startled in sleep, and if treated harshly, they can go into\nmental shock and become unconscious.  Sometimes, it can lead to\nepilepsy.  Aesculus is not only for children, but it can be used in\npatients of all ages.\n\nCongestion of the eyes  is a very salient sign of Aesculus\nHippocastanum.  This is due to the weakness of the blood vessels of\nthe eyes.  The eyes become red on s light increase of pressure.  Some\nHomoeopaths call it the piles of the eyes.  The eyes feel heavy and\nwatery.  The eyelids and the area be low the left eye exhibit twitching\nof the small muscles and the eyeballs hurt.\n\nAn Aesculus patient generally feels cold. There is a fleeting t ype of stiffness and aching of the\njoints.  There are lightning spells of a piercing type of pain, which get\nbetter with heat application.  All these symptoms are in the domain of\nAesculus Hippocastanum.\n\nIn Aesculus, there is a unique kind of piles consisting of large, bluish\nwarts, like bunches of grapes, asso ciated with severe burning.  The\npain becomes worse on standing and walking.  There is burning at the\nanus and dryness and a feeling as if  some small sticks are lodged in\nthe rectum.  Stools are hard, dry an d are passed with difficulty and\nafter defecation, there is intense pain.\n\nIn Aesculus, kidney pain  is also very evident especially in the left\nkidney.  Urination is frequent, scanty  and associated with burning.\nUrine is dark-coloured.\nWomen experience severe backache, weakness during the menses\nand a feeling of sagging of the uterus  that is typical in Aesculus.\nLeucorrhoea is dark yellow coloured and thick and sticky.\n\nIn Aesculus, there are symptoms related to the heart  also, such as\nburning pain over the heart, rapid heartbeat, pulsating blood vessels,\nand a feeling of heat over the chest.\n\nOther features of Aesculus are a feeling of constant discomfort,\nburning and severe nausea after food intake.  Digestion is weak.   A\nheavy feeling of the stomach as if there is a weight on it, food turning\nacidic, excessive sour belching, a me tallic taste in the mouth, copious\nsticky sputum and a thick yellowish-white coating on the tongue are\nall characteristics of Aesculus Hippocastanum.  The t hroat feels hot,\ndry and sore.  While swallowing, th e pain goes to the ears.  In\nAesculus Hippocastanum, the symptoms aggravate with cold, walking\naround, after eating and on getting up af ter sleep.  The discomfort of\npiles also gets worse in cold weather.
