## Keynote Indications
Aesculus glabra, like the horse chestnut, has a marked action on the rectum. In cattle, it 
produces wryneck and paresis of hind limbs. 
Produces hard, knotty stools, very painful. Very painful, dark purple, external hemor rhoids with constipation, 
vertigo and portal congestion. Dark purple hemorrhoids with lame back, weakness of sacrum and lower limbs. 
Proctitis. 
Fullness and heaviness of the head without pain, the sight may be dim or lost, eyes fixed and expressionless. 
The tongue is as if lame, speech thick. Cough produced by sudden irritation of throat. Sensation as of a feather 
tickling the throat, causing hawking and raising of mucus finally streaked with blood. Impaired vision. Paresis.

## Symptoms by System

### Mind
- Confusion with vertigo, often followed by stupefaction and coma.

### Vertigo
- Vertigo with staggering, reeling, unconsciousness.
- Vertigo with full, heavy head, dim sight, thick 
speech, nausea and vomiting, faintness towards evening.

### Eyes
- Eyes fixed and dead, expressionless.
- Sight dim or lost.

### Mouth
- Speech thick and tongue as if lame.

### Chest
- Cough from sudden irritation of throat, sensation as of a feather ticklin g the throat, causing hawking 
and raising of mucus finally streaked with blood.

### Stomach & Abdomen
- Nausea with loathing of food and vomiting.
- Distention (in cattle).
- Full sensation.
- Cramp -like pain.

### Extremities
- Trembling of lower limbs.
- Lower limbs lame, paralysis.
- Strong tendency to contraction of legs.
- Trembling.
- Spasms and convulsions, followed by lameness.

### Neck & Back
- Wryneck.
- Great lameness and weakness of the back.
